The EU might “act quickly and firmly” in response to what it deems “unwarranted” travel bans issued by the US on five European individuals working on fighting online hate and misinformation, a European Commission spokesperson stated.
EU Officials Condemn US Move as ‘Intimidation’
European leaders including the French president charged Washington of “bullying and threats”, following the travel bans were placed on individuals who have been central to efforts to enact legislation regulating American tech companies.
